Consent Decree and Other Documents

In settlement of this lawsuit, the United States and the City of Lubbock voluntarily agreed to the Consent Decree, available at the link below. At the Fairness Hearing on the Terms of the Consent Decree held on November 14, 2016, the Court found the Consent Decree to be fair, lawful, and reasonable. On the same day, the Court entered the Consent Decree as final and binding.

The United States submitted its proposed relief determinations on May 15, 2017. The Court has scheduled a Fairness Hearing on Individual Relief for September 19, 2017. GCG will send information regarding the United States’ determinations no later than June 30, 2017, to individuals who submitted an Interest-in-Relief Form. Claimants who wish to object to the United States’ relief determinations must do so by July 31, 2017.
